Officers of the Oyo State Police Command have rescued Hassan Mill, a Lebanese kidnapped at Panarama farm Mekun, Oke Alaro by suspected gunmen.

The Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Olugbenga Fadeyi in a statement issued in Ibadan on Monday evening said Hassan has been rescued from his abductors and has been reunited with his family.

He added that the victim has been taken to the hospital for medical attention by members of his family.

The Image Maker of the State Police Command denied a media report that a police officer involved in the rescue operation has been kidnapped adding that such information is mischievous and unfounded.

He appealed to residents of Oyo state to continue to assist the police with useful information for the safety of lives and property in the state.
