Edo state governor Monday Okpebholo has approved the payment of the 13th month salary for workers in the state.

The governor also approved the policy of automatic employment for first class graduates of Edo extraction from any university in Nigeria and abroad into the state civil service to boost the quality of manpower in the system.

According to the Chief Press Secretary to the governor Fred Itua, the governor,s payment of the 13th month salary is to ensure that the people of the state are well talking care of in the scheme of things during the festive season.
