Kano state has been ranked sixth in drug abuse and consumption of illicit substances in the country.

This was disclosed to the press on Thursday l\in Kano by the state commander of the National Drug Law And Enforcement Agency, Ibrahim ABDUL.

 He said Kano ranked first eleven months ago when he took over the command but with the use of intelligence-led approach and the continued training of their personnel, the state dropped to third and now it is number six drug abuse state in Nigeria.
