It has been observed that for Nigeria's health sector to compete favorably with her counterpart from around the world, the Federal government has been advised to implement the National health act.

In a chat with Galaxy News in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, former National Secretary, Nigeria Medical Association, Dr. Adewunmi Alayaki said Nigeria's health policies are faulty, with a plea for an upgrade in the budgetary allocation for health.
